developed for
Garfield Park Conservatory
This project began with the challenge of creating a visual concept that reflected the brand’s identity. I started by exploring the brand’s existing visual language its tone, values, and aesthetic—and used that as a foundation for creative development.
I produced and directed the photography, then edited the final imagery in Adobe Lightroom to create a consistent visual mood. Alongside the photography, I designed custom graphic elements using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to extend the brand experience across the collection. The final outcome creates a unified visual system that feels like a natural extension of the Garfield Park Conservatory brand.
Created For The Art Institute of Chicago
Designed in Adobe InDesign, this brochure was developed in response to the museum’s need for a clear and accessible way to guide visitors through its exhibition spaces. The goal was to simplify information while creating an experience aligned with the museum’s identity.
I developed a consistent grid system and used typography, spacing, and color to guide readers through each section while maintaining a clear visual hierarchy. To support the concept, I incorporated my own photography, selecting imagery that reflected the atmosphere and character of the space.
The final result balances clarity with visual storytelling, creating a brochure that helps visitors navigate the museum experience in an intuitive and engaging way.
Product Design
Commissioned by Oakton College, this project involved designing a custom speaker for staff as a gesture of appreciation. Developed in Adobe Illustrator, the concept uses Oakton’s leaf symbol—an important part of their identity—as the basis for a pattern system used across the design. This approach creates a playful yet cohesive visual language that aligns with the college’s brand.
The concept was well received, leading to the development of a broader system of variations that extends the same visual language across potential future product applications.
Promotional Items
This project involved close collaboration with multiple departments across campus to understand their goals and ensure each design supported their needs. I also worked directly with external vendors throughout the production process, adapting designs to meet technical specifications while maintaining consistency across a variety of materials and formats.
One notable feature was the mug design, which incorporated a custom QR code that provided employees with access to digital resources, creating a small but meaningful connection between physical design and functionality.
Building on the positive response from previous projects, I was invited to collaborate on a new collection of promotional items designed to reflect Oakton College’s brand identity. The collection included a branded mug, stainless steel water bottle, stress-relief figure, and pen, all created to align with Oakton’s visual language and connect with both staff and students.
ad campaign
This project was a highly collaborative effort developed in partnership with Oakton College’s Marketing Department to create a comprehensive advertising campaign promoting the college’s programs and community.
My role extended across multiple stages of production, including creating mood boards, participating in creative direction, assisting with photography concepts, supporting lighting decisions, casting student models, coordinating logistics, and producing original photographic content for both print and digital platforms. Throughout the process, I embraced a hands-on approach and was always willing to step in wherever support was needed—even joining the campaign as an extra during production.
For me, collaboration means going beyond assigned responsibilities and doing whatever is needed to help the team achieve the strongest possible result.
The final campaign was implemented across a wide range of platforms and touchpoints, including social media, flyers, postcards, promotional materials, bus stop and street advertising, the Oakton website, and other digital and print media. This experience strengthened my ability to work across teams, adapt to evolving project needs, and contribute beyond a traditional design role.
Palm Card Design
ÁNDALE!
This promotional palm card was designed to support Oakton College’s ÁNDALE! Program, an initiative that empowers Latino/a/x students through mentorship, leadership development, and academic resources. While the photography was provided, I developed the overall layout, integrated Oakton College’s brand identity, and adapted the messaging to align with institutional guidelines.
A key consideration for this project was accessibility and inclusivity. To better serve Oakton’s diverse student community, I created both English and Spanish versions of the palm card, ensuring the information could effectively reach a wider audience.
The final design balances clear communication with a vibrant and welcoming visual approach, creating an engaging piece tailored specifically to connect with and inspire students.

Dynamic Digital Displays
During my time at Oakton College, I designed and developed a series of digital display screens created to keep the campus community informed and engaged. Installed across key locations throughout the college, the displays featured rotating content including upcoming events, student resources, and campus announcements.
My role focused on creating visually engaging layouts that aligned with the college’s branding while prioritizing clarity, accessibility, and readability. I regularly updated and adapted content to ensure the displays remained current and relevant, balancing communication needs with a cohesive visual experience.
This project combined communication strategy with visual design, creating dynamic content that supported campus-wide engagement through accessible and thoughtfully designed digital media.
