This session was especially meaningful to me. I had the opportunity to meet the Berstela family, who recently moved from Los Angeles to the Netherlands, stepping into a brand-new chapter of their lives.

It was a cold day, but that didn’t stop us from taking a relaxed walk through the city, letting moments unfold naturally. Between laughter, quiet conversations, and curious little hands, we captured something honest and real—those in-between moments that often say the most.

This walk also marked a brief pause before everything changes again. As they prepare to welcome their third child, these images hold the last moments of life as they know it now—full of anticipation, connection, and the beauty of becoming a family in a new place.
